The third patch is to disable all the external ports so it is not for me. I tried two of the three patches included in the ist file, to switch ports, but they did not work. I'm injecting intel, added an IntelGFX fake ID (0x59168086), I'm using ig-plattform-id 0x591B0000, and even added 3 devices properties to make audio work over HDMI (ioreg shows those devices are applied correctly, according to the guide). I'm using patches included in RehabMan's ist for Intel HD 620.

Now I'm booting with CSM disabled (as it should be in the first place). Same applies for the USB-C output, no video signal. Booting with CSM enabled and plugging the HDMI cable after logging in to the system, does not work at all, no signal over the HDMI. Also read: 11 Best Docking Stations for MacBook.

Also, after the Apple logo, the internal screen "turns on", but it shows a black screen, and it hangs there, also showing black screen on the TV, so it is not working. You can’t force a Mac to play nicely with an incompatible external display by chaining multiple adapters together If you have a chain of adapters, such as a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter chained to a DVI to HDMI adapter, you’ll need to replace this setup with a single, compatible adapter. M2 seems to work just fine but M1 has a black screen. I have connected M1 with an Insignia Displayport/HDMI converter to the HDMI port on the monitor.

To my surprise, if I boot with HDMI cable connected having CSM enabled, the HDMI output gives me signal on the TV screen, but nothing is shown on the internal screen. Monitors: Samsung S22E310H (Monitor 1) + ViewSonic VA2246m-led (Monitor 2) +. One thing I tried earlier is to enable CSM in BIOS.

1 HUB Converter for MacBook Pro SOLVED USB to HDMI Adapter Not Working - Driver Easy Dell Adapter-USB-C to HDMI/VGA/Ethernet/USB 3. 0 but the display keeps disabling going blank. I can connect a USB-C hub with HDMI output too, and it all works except for the HDMI, so USB-C is working for everything except video). Just cause the end is different doesnt mean it cant work. Neither work, as if they were disabled (well, USB-C does work and it is active. This laptop model has an USB-C port capable of outputting video from it. If you're connecting using a Mini DisplayPort adapter, make sure that your Mac can send audio over Mini DisplayPort. In the Output pane, make sure that your HDMI device is. There are no options for mirroring or extending the screen except for AirPlay. If your HDMI device isn't receiving audio from your Mac: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sound. In system settings, the screen option only shows one screen. It does not matter if I boot with HDMI plugged, or if I plug the HDMI cable after booting, video output only works in the internal screen. More details: I have CSM disabled in BIOS.
